Job Description

We are searching for a passionate and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing various projects, from residential buildings to commercial spaces. This role requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and a commitment to quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative architectural designs that meet client needs.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception through construction.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and zoning laws.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and create reports.
• Lead project meetings and communicate progress to the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Architecture is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years of progressive architectural experience

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Photoshop

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Experience in using Adobe Suite for design presentations and visualizations.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations: Understanding of the specific requirements for building in Eastern Cape.
