Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our bustling practice in sunny Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional healthcare and be able to create a welcoming environment for patients. As a GP, you will diagnose and treat various medical conditions, offer preventative care, and maintain patient records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and health assessments.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment regimens.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and data protection.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
• Implement quality improvement measures in practice.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide support.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate qualification in family medicine preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a primary care setting

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Conversational

Advantageous
