Job Description

As a Nitric Acid Plant Operator, you will ensure the reliable and safe operation of our nitric acid plant. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, adjusting system parameters to optimize production, and maintaining meticulous records. This role is crucial in supporting our production goals and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate nitric acid production machinery to meet output targets.
• Inspect equipment for wear and tear to prevent downtime.
• Document operational data and report discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow.
• Participate in emergency response drills and comply with safety requirements.
• Assist in training new operators on plant processes and safety practices.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with environmental regulations.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to production processes.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in chemical manufacturing or production environment
