We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotechnology and a passion for developing and testing new pharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to groundbreaking research projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate methodologies for assessing the efficacy of new products.
• Work closely with team members to troubleshoot experimental challenges.
• Participate in the preparation of publications and patent applications.
• Implement best practices for laboratory safety and waste management.
• Assist in training junior staff and interns on laboratory techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• PhD in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Sciences is highly regarded

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant research experience
