Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. This role involves engaging with cutting-edge aerospace projects, focusing on design, testing, and implementation of aerodynamic systems. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of aerospace principles and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire project lifecycle from concept to final delivery.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors on technical requirements.
• Evaluate new materials and technologies for aerospace applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimations for upcoming projects.
• Lead technical meetings and communicate design changes effectively.
• Ensure project timelines are adhered to and deliverables are met.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Aerospace Systems Engineering

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Engineering Management Certification
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with simulation software: Hands-on experience with ANSYS or similar software for analysis.
