Biomass Power Plant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomass Power Plant Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our power plant facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in power generation and a passion for renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operations team to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for compliance checks.
• Lead training sessions for staff to enhance skills and safety awareness.
• Organize regular maintenance checks and equipment audits.
• Monitor plant performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Implement energy efficiency projects to reduce operational costs.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages team input.
• Manage waste disposal in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Prepare and review reports on operational efficiency and workplace safety.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Renewable Energy Management or similar

Experience

• Experience in biomass energy production preferred
