Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports and forecasts, analyzing financial data, and assisting in budget management. Your insights will be crucial in guiding our investment strategies and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports and develop insights for management.
• Review departmental budgets and performance metrics for accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with business units to formulate financial forecasts.
• Develop financial models to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between planned and actual performance.
• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
• Deliver presentations of financial analysis to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• MBA or relevant certifications (CMA, CFA) are advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance environment
