Network Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and managing network equipment, as well as understanding network protocols and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and configure network devices within a multi-site environment.
• Analyze and optimize network performance to ensure a high level of service.
• Work with IT security to ensure data integrity and network security.
• Document network configurations and maintain user guides for IT staff.
• Participate in network design and evaluation of new technologies to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a network management role
