Network Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a highly motivated Network Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring and managing network equipment, as well as understanding network protocols and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance for network-related issues escalated by IT support staff.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup plans.
• Evaluate network and hardware specifications to maintain best practices.
• Prepare reports on network performance and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of network solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a network management role
