Forger Helper

Job Description

The Forger Helper will assist the Forger in performing forging operations to produce high-quality metal parts as per client specifications. This role offers a hands-on opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Support the Forging Supervisor in daily tasks.
• Troubleshoot minor issues with forging machinery.
• Report quality control issues promptly.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of materials used in forging.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical certificate in metalworking or related field (advantageous)

Experience

• No experience required; training will be provided.

Technical Skills

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Physical stamina

Languages

• English: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience with forging equipment and tools: Hands-on experience with relevant machinery is a plus.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety guidelines: Understanding safety protocols is crucial for workplace safety.
