Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Environmental Engineer with a strong focus on sustainability to work in our Cape Town office. You will be involved in assessing environmental impacts and advising on best practices for project implementation, ensuring that ecological integrity is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement environmental protection measures.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams on sustainability initiatives.
• Analyse data and prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance.
• Lead projects related to renewable energy and waste management.
• Foster stakeholder engagement in environmental initiatives.
• Coordinate with local authorities on environmental regulations.
• Conduct environmental education workshops.
• Support the development of innovative designs for projects.
• Participate in community engagement and outreach activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental engineering

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
