Job Description

As a Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a key role in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and manage machines that blend raw materials to create high-quality plastic products. You will ensure that each mixture meets quality standards and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Responsibilities

• Mix specific formulations of plastics according to job specifications.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure machines are functioning correctly.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operations and safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with quality control staff to ensure product integrity.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical qualification related to plastics processing preferred

Experience

• 2 years of experience in a similar role within the plastic manufacturing sector.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Blending Techniques: Understanding various mixing/blending techniques for plastics can be beneficial.
