Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat medical conditions in pets and livestock.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
• Manage emergency care situations effectively.
• Guide pet owners on diet, training, and overall pet welfare.
• Engage in community outreach programs to promote animal wellness.
• Support the veterinary team in day-to-day operations and tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Additional specialization in surgery or internal medicine is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

• Emergency Care Proficiency

Certifications

• Advanced Veterinary Medicine Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
