Security Engineer

Job Description

Join us as a Security Engineer where you will be responsible for enhancing our security posture and protecting sensitive information. Your technical knowledge and proactive attitude will help in identifying vulnerabilities before they become a problem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Support the organization by ensuring compliance with regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Evaluate and recommend security tools and technology to enhance security measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security priorities with business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on security incidents and assist in remediation efforts.
• Create detailed incident reports and documentation for security breaches.
• Perform ongoing monitoring of security alerts and provide prompt incident response.
• Assist in the procurement and implementation of leading security software.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in security engineering or IT security field

• Hands-On Experience with Firewalls and VPN Setup: Experience setting up and configuring firewalls and VPNs.
