Responsibilities

• Administer treatments and medications as per physician orders.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs.
• Implement nursing care plans and monitor patient progress.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Coordinate with case managers to facilitate patient discharge planning.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Registered Nurse license in South Africa

Experience

• Experience in a specific nursing specialty is a plus

• Patient education skills

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
