Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and enhancing our clients' cybersecurity frameworks, developing solutions to mitigate risks, and providing expert guidance on security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and respond to vulnerabilities and threats in real-time.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance and support to end-users.
• Execute security awareness training sessions for staff.
• Analyze and report on security incidents to management.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives aimed at improving client security posture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity advisory roles

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with Security Awareness Training: Experience in developing and delivering security training programs to staff.
