Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. You will be the first line of support for our internal and external clients, ensuring smooth operation of IT services and systems. The role is crucial to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues for users.
  • Coordinate with IT team to implement software updates and patches.
  • Evaluate user feedback and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions for system upgrades or new technologies.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with users to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant IT qualifications or certifications
Experience
  • 2-3 years in a similar role

  • Linux OS

Certifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
