Environmental Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will focus on developing and implementing sustainable projects, conducting environmental assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote environmental best practices and deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments for projects related to water resource management.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies during environmental review processes.
• Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of implemented environmental strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns on environmental practices.
• Support the implementation of waste reduction and recycling programs.
• Contribute to the design of environmentally friendly infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental assessments and compliance.
