Job Description

We're seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves assessing systems for vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and implementing measures to protect our critical assets. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge in network security and familiarity with regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system logs to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of security tools.
• Take part in incident response efforts, ensuring quick mitigation.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Engage with third-party vendors for security solutions.
• Provide real-time security monitoring for all systems and applications.
• Document security procedures and protocols for compliance.
• Participate in drills and simulation exercises for incident response.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or similar
• Relevant intern or work experience in security environments

Experience

• 2+ years in information security
