Automotive Technician

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a qualified Automotive Technician to join our Cape Town workshop. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, as well as conducting regular maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with opportunities for further training and development.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot vehicle problems using advanced automotive diagnostic tools.
• Document all services and repairs accurately in the system.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors to ensure quotes and estimates are accurate.
• Help maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle makes and models.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Automotive Engineering or similar qualification
• Certification from a recognized automotive institution preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience
