Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Underwriter to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will evaluate insurance applications, analyze risks, and determine appropriate coverage. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive the best protection tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new clients and policy renewals.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and clarify policy conditions.
• Evaluate market trends and adjust underwriting practices accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Assist in developing training materials and procedures for new underwriters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, or a similar field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in underwriting or relevant insurance experience

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Insurance Laws
• Data Analysis Tools
