Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join our enthusiastic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will focus on the design, implementation, and optimization of renewable energy systems, helping clients transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of renewable energy projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop innovative solutions.
• Train and support clients on the operation of renewable energy systems.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes to ensure objectives are achieved.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy or closely related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy consulting

• Energy Simulation Software
• Sustainability Assessment

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Hydroelectric Power: Experience in designing and implementing hydroelectric power systems.
