First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers

Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Production, you will oversee a dynamic team of fabricators and welders, maintaining quality and efficiency in the shop floor operations. Your leadership will ensure that production targets are met while fostering a safe and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fabrication team to achieve production goals.
• Monitor daily operations for efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with quality control to address any production issues.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss objectives and progress.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Implement best practices to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in Manufacturing or Metallurgy is advantageous

Experience

• Additional experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is preferred.

Technical Skills

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

• English: Fluent
