IT Support Technician

Job Description

We seek an IT Support Technician in Cape Town to provide exceptional support and troubleshooting. You will resolve technical challenges, maintain IT systems, and assist colleagues in navigating their technical needs, making you an integral part of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot IT issues in a timely manner.
• Execute routine checks on IT systems to ensure reliability.
• Help configure and set up new equipment and software.
• Provide support for video conferencing and collaboration tools.
• Create and maintain user documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Assist in the upgrade and installation of IT infrastructure as needed.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to enhance service delivery.
• Support end-users in a sensitive and professional manner.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Computer Networking or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years experience in a technical support role.

• Mac OS
