As an Insurance Underwriter, your primary responsibility will involve evaluating insurance applications, assessing risks, and determining appropriate coverage options. You'll collaborate closely with agents and clients to provide insights into policy details while ensuring the company remains competitive in the market. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments using available data and analytical tools.
• Engage with the marketing team to understand product offerings and determine improvements.
• Create policy reports and documentation to inform stakeholders of underwriting decisions.
• Work closely with the claims department to evaluate claims and assess coverage effectiveness.
• Identify trends in claims data to guide future underwriting practices.
• Provide training to junior underwriters on assessment techniques and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Risk Management
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in underwriting within the insurance industry
