Job Description

We're on the lookout for a proactive IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve technical support issues for both hardware and software.
  • Perform system updates, backups, and maintenance tasks.
  • Assist users with understanding and utilizing software applications.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies.
  • Maintain inventory of IT supplies and equipment.
  • Document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Work closely with the IT team to implement new systems and procedures.
  • Ensure that security measures are in place to protect sensitive information.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
