We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, including risk assessment, threat analysis, and incident response. You will play a critical role in protecting our organisation's data and systems from cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the security of our IT infrastructure.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Conduct regular security awareness programs for staff.
• Prepare detailed reports for management on security incidents and resolutions.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are an advantage

• 3+ years of experience in information security or related field
