Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Tax Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist clients in understanding their tax responsibilities and develop customized strategies to optimize their tax outcomes. Your insights will be crucial in ensuring compliance while identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored tax strategies to assist clients in reducing their overall tax burden.
• Manage and supervise junior staff in tax preparation and compliance tasks.
• Provide training to clients and staff regarding compliance and tax regulations.
• Compile tax documentation and maintain organized client files for audit readiness.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss tax matters and provide expert guidance.
• Document and track all tax-related correspondence with clients and authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, SAIT) is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax compliance and advisory roles

Certifications

• Certification in Taxation (SAIT)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with Transfer Pricing: Experience in advising clients on transfer pricing matters.
