Job Description

As an IT Support Technician based in Johannesburg, your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing technical problems, providing support to users, and improving IT processes. We are seeking a proactive individual who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer systems and applications.
• Provide first-line support to end users.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Maintain and monitor network systems.
• Document issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
• Assist in IT asset management and inventory control.
• Train users on new technologies and software.
• Provide support for mobile devices and remote access.
• Work with vendors on hardware repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified) are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in IT support roles
