Job Description

We're on the lookout for a talented Interior Designer to join our Johannesburg team. The role involves conceptualizing and executing design plans, collaborating with clients to understand their needs, and bringing those ideas to life through innovative designs. You'll work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to commercial spaces, ensuring they are not only functional but also visually appealing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and fixtures.
• Prepare and manage project documentation and contracts.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to ensure client satisfaction.
• Assist in marketing and promotional activities for the design department.
• Mentor junior designers and interns.
• Participate in design competitions and exhibitions.
• Network with industry professionals to build relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• Relevant design certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in various sectors of interior design

• 3D Rendering Software

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)

Languages

• English: Fluent
