Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Yard Person to ensure our outdoor spaces are clean and organized. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks, including maintenance and operation of small machinery, to promote a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of the yard to maintain standards.
• Assist with landscaping projects when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of pathways and communal areas.
• Engage in teamwork with other staff to enhance efficiency.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Develop a routine for keeping outdoor areas organized.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Attend training for operating machinery safely.
• Provide feedback to management for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or similar outdoor roles.

Certifications

• Chainsaw Operation Certificate (advantageous)
• Landscaping Certificate (preferable)

• Experience with landscaping design: Ability to assist with or implement landscaping projects.
