Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices and a passion for improving patient health.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
  • Participate in health and wellness programs and events.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
  • Perform medication therapy management and counseling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new pharmacy staff.
  • Document and report any medication errors or adverse drug reactions.
  • Contribute to patient care strategies and recommendations.
  • Support the implementation of pharmacy initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field
Experience
  • Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
