Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and react to changes in their health status.
• Administer medications, dress wounds, and monitor patient progress.
• Work with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in patient care rounds and case discussions.
• Educate patients on medications and health maintenance.
• Serve as an advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and hospital policies.
• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Provide training and orientation to new nursing staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Nursing with Honors
• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a nursing role with leadership responsibilities

Certifications

• Registered Nurse Certificate from SANC

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
