Job Description

As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of telecommunications equipment. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who can effectively manage technical challenges and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain telecommunications equipment to ensure functionality.
• Manage inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring optimal levels.
• Conduct site surveys to prepare for installation and repairs.
• Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Prepare detailed reports on repairs and service calls.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to suggest improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.
• Assist in the documentation of processes and procedures.
• Help implement new technologies as they are released.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent service.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in RF technology or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with fiber optic networks is highly advantageous
