Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental principles and be committed to developing innovative solutions for ecological challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead environmental studies and assessments on-site.
  • Ensure projects are aligned with environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Facilitate training sessions on environmental best practices.
  • Assist in the development of environmental policy and strategy.
  • Monitor project performance in regard to environmental sustainability.
  • Build relationships with local communities to support environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in environmental consulting or engineering roles

  • Fluency in Additional Languages: Ability to communicate in Afrikaans or Xhosa is a plus.
