Job Description

We are on the lookout for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch technical support and solutions to our clients, ensuring smooth operations within the IT infrastructure. You will be the first point of contact for users, helping them resolve issues and enhance their overall experience with technology.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for users experiencing IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and escalate when necessary.
  • Assist with the setup of new hardware and software for staff.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations and support procedures.
  • Conduct regular checks on system performance and updates.
  • Participate in training sessions for users on new technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk environment

  • Windows/Linux operating systems

Languages
