Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Insurance Underwriter position will be responsible for analyzing and classifying risks to help guide the underwriting decision process. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that our clients receive tailored coverage plans that align with their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply pricing strategies that align with risk evaluations.
• Timely review of policy renewals and amendments in line with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to insurer guidelines while processing applications.
• Conduct underwriting audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development and refinement of underwriting methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of underwriting experience preferred

Certifications

• Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
