Job Description

Join our team as an IT Support Technician in Johannesburg, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. You'll provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring that our users can effectively utilize the technology at their disposal.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for all IT-related queries and support requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure reliability.
  • Assist in the management of IT inventory and procurement.
  • Provide user training on specific software applications.
  • Work with vendors for equipment repairs and service.
  • Document IT processes and user manuals.
  • Support IT projects and initiatives as required.
  • Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field
