We are on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our committed team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in safeguarding systems against cyber threats and developing security strategies. You will play a crucial role in assessing vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for security compliance.
• Respond to and mitigate security incidents swiftly and effectively.
• Perform threat modeling to proactively address potential risks.
• Contribute to strategy development for overall information security.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of security incidents.
• Lead post-incident reviews to improve procedures.
• Regularly update security tools and protocols according to best practices.
• Research emerging cybersecurity trends and threats.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
