Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonologist to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory disorders, primarily focusing on conditions such as asthma, COPD, and interstitial lung disease.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead clinical research projects focusing on respiratory health.
• Utilize advanced techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases.
• Advise on patient care protocols that align with best practice guidelines.
• Maintain a positive and productive relationship with patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in the training and development of junior medical staff.
• Provide telehealth consultations as necessary to expand access to care.
• Track and analyze patient outcomes to enhance future clinical practices.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Specialist qualification in Respiratory Medicine

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a pulmonary practice or hospital setting.
