Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general medicine, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, offering preventative care, and managing overall patient health.

Responsibilities

  • Examine patients and medical histories to recommend treatment.
  • Perform necessary medical procedures as needed.
  • Monitor and record patient progress over time.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and health maintenance.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
  • Stay informed about medical advancements and treatment options.
  • Participate in the clinic's quality improvement initiatives.
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Contribute to staff training and development.
  • Promote a positive and effective clinical environment.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate training in General Practice is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting, preferably in general practice
