Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Bloemfontein, you will provide top-notch technical support and maintenance for our IT systems. You will work closely with users to resolve issues, implement upgrades, and ensure that all hardware and software components function effectively within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT department with maintaining and upgrading systems.
• Handle user access and security management.
• Report and escalate unresolved issues to the IT Manager.
• Participate in training sessions for new software releases.
• Contribute to the development of IT training materials.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in IT is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support or related position

Technical Skills

• Linux OS
• Active Directory

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
