Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions that mitigate environmental impacts while ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and engineering, with excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the environmental monitoring programs and data collection.
• Advise on sustainable construction practices and materials.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars on environmental conservation.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies for environmental improvement.
• Supervise junior engineers and technicians on project assignments.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems.
• Monitor industry trends and regulations for compliance.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams on sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
