Job Description

As an Interior Designer at Creative Spaces Ltd., you will take the lead on projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the highest standards of design are achieved. You should be equipped with solid technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from initial concept to final execution.
• Create mood boards and visuals to convey design ideas to clients.
• Prepare cost estimates and project proposals for client approval.
• Collaborate with other design professionals and contractors.
• Evaluate spaces and create functional layouts that optimize flow and aesthetics.
• Assist in marketing efforts and networking to expand business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Organize and manage design resources, ensuring availability for projects.
• Engage in professional development through workshops and design courses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline
• Master's degree in Interior Design is preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in residential and commercial design

Certifications

• Design Certification from a recognized institution
• LEED Green Associate is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
