Tenter Feeder

Job Description

As a Tenter Feeder, you will play a critical role in our textile production process. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain machines that feed cloth or yarn into processing equipment. You will ensure the smooth operation of the machinery and assist in achieving production targets.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain the tenter machines efficiently.
• Track production metrics and report discrepancies.
• Ensure yarn or cloth is fed correctly into the machinery.
• Check for quality assurance throughout the production process.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace.
• Assist in training new operators as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12
• Certificate in textile manufacturing is a plus

Experience

• Experience in fabric inspection or quality control is a bonus.

Technical Skills

• Yarn handling expertise
• Basic computer literacy

Soft Skills

• Teamwork and collaboration
• Physical stamina
