Job Description

The Slag Motor Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the slag motor machinery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely during the steel production process. The operator must have strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of slag motor equipment.
  • Identify potential hazards and take preventive action.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations.
  • Compile reports on machinery performance and incidents.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for equipment upgrades.
  • Participate in hands-on training sessions for skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in machinery operation preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry is preferred.
