Job Description

Seeking a Structural Engineer to lead and manage projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of structural analysis and design, alongside proficiency in relevant software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
• Utilize software tools to model and simulate structural behaviors and responses.
• Perform peer reviews of fellow engineer designs to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Engage with contractors to address design implementation concerns.
• Document technical information and prepare project documentation.
• Analyze design changes and their impact on project costs and schedules.
• Coordinate with various disciplines to integrate interdisciplinary designs into final solutions.
• Participate in trade shows and industry conferences to represent the firm and stay updated on engineering practices.
• Oversee compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and present innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in structural engineering projects.
