We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, and providing exceptional support to users.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support queries via telephone, email, and in person.
• Perform hardware repairs and upgrades as necessary.
• Track and log support requests for reporting purposes.
• Assist with network administration tasks including user account management.
• Monitor and ensure the security of the IT environment.
• Provide training sessions for users on new applications and tools.
• Work on system configuration and enhance operational efficiency.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in IT support or related roles
