Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at our prestigious firm, you will lead projects focused on the design and analysis of structures, ensuring they are safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing. Your role will involve collaborating with architects and other engineers to bring innovative designs to life. You will also be responsible for conducting assessments and creating detailed reports for various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design projects from conception to completion.
• Provide expert consultation on structural engineering issues.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project execution.
• Utilize advanced software for structural modeling and analysis.
• Review and approve contractor submittals and shop drawings.
• Conduct post-construction assessments to ensure structural integrity.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress and solutions.
• Document and manage project changes and updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications are an asset

Experience

• 5+ years experience in relevant structural projects

• Finite Element Analysis
• Building Code Knowledge

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)

Languages
