Job Description

We are seeking a Healthcare Administrator who will oversee the operations of our healthcare facilities in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing staff, and enhancing patient services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling and staffing to meet patient care needs.
  • Ensure effective communication between departments.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with external agencies for regulatory compliance.
  • Implement strategic plans to enhance operational performance.
  • Facilitate meetings with healthcare providers to discuss care standards.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives for patient safety and care improvements.
  • Assess staff training needs and implement relevant programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, focus in Healthcare
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration preferred

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
