Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic recreational programs and activities for individuals with diverse needs, ensuring to create a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine recreational needs.
  • Facilitate engaging activities that promote physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
  • Document and report on clients' progress and modify programmes as required.
  • Participate in case review meetings with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide ongoing education to clients and families about the therapeutic benefits of recreation.
  • Assist in managing budgets for recreational programmes and activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Recreation Therapy is advantageous
Experience
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
